Rudolph would be a proud boy and if you look at his nose close enough it says make america great again
Without question one of the best podcast episodes I listened to this year, of any podcast. Just delightful in every sense of the word.
So i'm listening to the Torchy's Tacos episode and crying and covering my mouth because i'm in class. Nick reveal was something else.
are there quintessential episodes to start with, like a few of the "greats"? or should I just start with the most recent? I got into MBMBaM years ago by going back like 10 episodes and working my way up and then going all the way back, some of those first episodes are rough.
i think the consensus is the beginning takes some time to get hilarious but it’s worth starting from ep one to see the dynamic between Mitch and Nick grow and all the recurring bits take form. it started as fairly objective, but humorous food talk and is now an hour and a half of absolute hilarity with thirty minutes of food talk at the end lol don’t read my post wrong though - it’s very good the whole time, just not as amazing as it becomes
Start with episode one, because you'll likely enjoy the show and want to go back and be a completest anyway. If you need a couple stand outs, both episodes with Paul Rust are amazing. Like Shrek said, the real problem with recommending random episodes is that you really need to get a feel for the dynamic between Mitch and Nick, plus there are lots of inside/recurring bits.
thanks! downloaded a bunch from the beginning to listen to while I travel over the holidays. hindsight, I should have done that with MBMBaM so I’ll start fresh with this one.
Stick with it even if you're not blown away by the first ones you listen to. The first episode I tried was Gabrus' Outback Steakhouse and I didn't love it which seems insane to me now
yeah, the first MBMBaM eps are especially rough mostly due to recording quality but that one you can essentially start anywhere. As someone who has fairly recently started listening to this from the beginning, I feel like it’s not essential but definitely has added to my enjoyment and I would have been a little lost if I jumped in late (plus you almost guaranteed will want to hear it all after you get started anyways)
hoooooo my god peecast blast is a SURLY one. Sean was really on fire that one. cant wait for you guys to hear it...however that works.
the Doughboys ep is an exception as they’re releasing it as a Double, unless they drop it on the Patreon on Friday
ah damn, hopefully they drop it as a surprise or something since I think chronologically there were a few live shows before the peecast and I don't wanna wait lol
i just enjoy the palpable discomfort in Mitch and Nick’s voices as they try to navigate to “anyways chalupas”
