funniest ep in a good while.

i think Mitch’s “it’s a shame you can’t meet her” to Nick re: Susser’s baby was the peak of the bit. a perfect big swing off an emotional story. i don’t know the last time the show made me laugh that hard.

 

Ben and Jerry’s is a good winner but if we’re awarding individual flavors, I gotta give it to HD’s peanut butter chocolate. HD would’ve had a better shot with some other flavors and not Yusong’s fucking green tea horseshit!

 

Halo Top is INSANELY hit or miss and I was worried what flavors they chose going in and they somehow chose two of the worst flavors I’ve ever had. I genuinely don’t know how you fuck up cookies n cream as badly as Halo Top does. Their waffles flavor is also just frozen syrup, it’s disgusting.

I’ll fuck with Halo Top vanilla bean (vanilla is a flavor, the BEST flavor) and pistachio all day.

 

I don't even know why they got pints, it was all a sham! Soft serve forever baby!

 

I'd been losing a little interest in this recently but the last two brought me all the way back. Commissioner Susser is such a singular, ridiculous, pure Doughboys character

 

Yusong did fuck up real bad. Cookie Dough is one of Halo Top’s best flavors and Cookies and Cream is probably their worst.

Just to keep harping on the DQ thing, the idea that DQ doesn't belong in this contest but fucking Halo Top does is insanity.

i’ve had an idea for a drop for a couple months that i keep coming back to. i may try to put it together Sunday night.

 

Halo Top was a dumb choice, there's no way it was going to hold up to real ice cream. But the only way DQ would belong is if there was a separate soft serve category with Foster's Freeze etc.

 

Yeah, that seemed to be Nick's thinking as well. I don't really think of soft serve and hard ice cream as being "different" things.

I passed this sign like 5 minutes before he posted this. Creeped me out a little.

 

Only Halo Top I've tried is Cookie Dough. It was fucking gross

 

Halo Top is good stuff

 

Haven't tried it but artificial sweeteners are never good in my experience

 

Damn what the hell is going on between Mitch/Nick/Van/Jack and Harmon town/starburns guys?
