This episode is rough because I give absolute 0 shits about DMB. I'm 8 minutes in and might give up soon

Edit: They just played Crash Into Me so I assume it's all downhill from here

 

I'm finding this kinda interesting despite not caring about DMB.

This must have been recorded before the Boyd Tinsley sexual assault stuff, right? Seems weird it wouldn't have been brought up when Mitch talked about him specifically for a minute or two. Also said, "maybe they'll play together again"

Thought it was strange they didn't mention Ladybird when talking about Crash Into Me as well

I hate DMB and thought the episode was great, Wiger using video games soundtracks and a song from Lethal Weapon 3 as reference points was absurd

 

I mean U2 is a dumbass band and I listened to all like 60 hours of that pod so how bad could this be

 

I dunno if Mitch really pays attention to the lyrics. No mention of the creepiness of "Crash Into Me"

 

My high school art/pottery teacher would listen to DMB all day every day so anytime I hear them my synesthesia goes crazy and I immediately smell pottery clay.

 

I never paid attention to the lyrics when the song was a hit but just realized it’s meaning after reading this when Lady Bird came out
