To be fair, though, I still think Suss could have made something out of that if he had wanted to. Maybe they agreed not to do anything like that this year? But that chaos is what makes Munch Madness so fun (like Wiger's revisionism putting In N Out back in the tournament in 2016, making it the illegitimate winner of the Burger Brawl (Shake Shack 4 eva)).

 

Side battle is an interesting idea for LCK. But pizza sides are the worst sides so the competition aspect of this episode fell flat for me

 

Quepapas sound good but none of my local Pizza Huts have them

 

Quepapas are okay, but they're essentially just tater tots with cheese in them. Burger King has a similar item, so does Burger Street (which is possibly a regional chain, but damn is Burger Street good)

 

This was a bad ep, imo. Very boring. Too much food talk

 

Did it not have enough auto-fellatio talk to suit your interests?

 

They just sent out an email asking if we would prefer the double to come out on Monday instead of Tuesday.

I would prefer Monday but I think they’ll stick with tues

Am I uncultured or did the Roman pizza place Neil was describing sound insane?

 

I think he made it sound a little weirder than it is. It's a bit gimmicky, but it's not that different from any other pizza place. Whole Foods actually does the same thing.

 

I wouldn't say the episode was particularly bad. The show is usually just firing on all cylinders so when we get an episode without a lot of humor, and more straight forward food talk, it seems a little dull. Need more chaos for a Chompionship.

 

It was a bonus episode anyways. I don't think I'm ever truly disappointed by having more Doughboys to listen to, but maybe that's just me

 

Claudia/Gemberling/Carl are all high tier Doughboys, the Doubles have been fine but tough to compare.

 

Marisa Pinson is a Doughboys all-time great for me too. She meshes so well with the guys.

 

This double was kinda boring because Neil was kinda boring

Nice. He was the guest on the episode my drop got played and like everyone else seemed thoroughly underwhelmed.

 

I can’t blame them for being kind of tired. I can’t imagine eating that much pizza and trying to do anything besides going into a coma.
