Sony let the rights lapse and Paramount picked it up with a new writing team. Honestly it makes the joke even funnier now

 

You mean they didn't go full speed ahead in production after Fist Fight?

 

I doubt Sony would give up the rights to Sonic entirely just because Fist Fight was bad. They could’ve just hired new writers.

 

I cracked up hard but also got anxiety thinking of the situation where Wiger gets confronted accepting Mario's carryout order as his own.

 

"I'm Mario, is that my order?"
"Oh yeah, I think it might be"
"Why'd you try and take my order?"
"No you see, I host a podcast and my co-host placed the order and I thought he left the name as an Easter egg for me."

 

I don't think pizza was a good idea mainly cause its mostly the same and they definitely care less about it, but Gemberling's very thorough breakdown of these ridiculous categories was beautiful

 

This is one of the best episodes in recent memory (as was Claudia's), pizza is a great topic for Munch Madness imo

 

Looks like it was a financing issue and they retained the entire production team. Sussex and Robichaux will still get credit for the story, but won’t be writing it.

Oh, huh. Didn’t see that anywhere. Well that’s good for them at least, I guess Paramount just took the opportunity to replace them, probably because of Fist Fight.

 

I am, mostly because I want to know if Cream the Rabbit finally decides to go for it with Charmy Bee.

 

Gemberling's laugh is so wonderful

 

Gemberling is just great in general. He's so damn funny on Broad City.

 

I used to not like him because of his character on Broad City, but he's a great podcast guest especially on here and CBB.

 

I don't know how anyone could not like Bevers, he's the best roommate('s boyfriend) a single girl in New York could ask for.

 

I feel like the rationale for Burrow advertising on Doughboys is “These idiots pay $5 a month for more of this podcast, they’ll definitely be willing to pay $1500 for a couch”

Randy's character was terrible, not gonna happen.

 

I am not happy with the amount of Randy bashing happening in that Love thread, I will not allow it to spread here

 

Haven't started S3 yet but Randy is the real hero of this show.
