Maybe they'll just abandon theme months after the last two were received so poorly

 

I suggested desserts and I saw a lot of other people on Twitter also suggesting desserts. So, kind of like how last year's had different divisions for different chicken preparations, this would have, like, the Shake Division (In N Out, Shake Shack, Carl's Jr.), the Donut Division (Dunkin, Krispy Kreme, etc.), the Blended division (DQ Blizzard, McFlurry, etc.), and then maybe like a "Miscellaneous" Division (McDonald's Apple Pie, Taco Bell Cinnabon Delights, Cinnabon itself, etc.). That would be cool, I think.

 

They recently mentioned eating a lot of pizza for a future episode so pizza seems like a good guess

 

Didn't they eat a bunch of pizza on the last double though?

 

I feel like pizza would be so boring, though. Like, when you get to chain restaurant pizza it's all just so similar in a way that, say, burgers aren't.

Yeah they could've been talking about the frozen pizzas from the Winter Doughlympics, I thought.

 

And there's only so many pizza places, the big 3 and like Blaze and Mod and smaller chains. I'd like Blaze to get its own episode but a whole pizza tournament doesn't sound that interesting.

I wonder if they'll reveal it tomorrow on the double.

 

they should review the four worst pizza chains (papa johns, little caesar's, pizza hut, sparro)

 

They've been talking about doing Blaze for a while now, I'm surprised they haven't done it yet. I think it's pretty decent for fast food pizza, and the concept (for anyone reading this that doesn't know, it's build-your-own pizza to order, like Chipotle for pizza) is solid. Either way, definitely the best pizza chain I've eaten at by far.

Never been there but there are two not terribly far from my house. I'll have to check it out.

I know there's also another chain with the same concept called 1,000 Degrees that we also have in my town but I haven't been there yet.

 

This one unlike Blaze and I'd assume 1k Degrees, is that they don't use a brick oven. It just runs on a conveyor belt for about 2 minutes. Real good though. Try it out, for sure.

 

Ah but brick oven is the best though. But I will have to try it.

I will also say that when I had Blaze for the first time in 2016 I was pretty impressed, as far as chains go. So my bar is set relatively high.

 

I was skeptical about Blaze but enjoyed a great deal and went out of my way to go back. It seems like a lot of food but strangely isn't.

 

I'll fuck with little caesers anyday. Get that buffalo ranch sauce for dipping, hell yeah

Cici’s is literal dogshit. By which I mean they have a Dogshit Pizza. It’s pretty good!

 

My most controversial food opinion is that Cici’s buffalo chicken pizza is one of my favorite foods ever. I live in NYC and have considered journeying into Jersey to go there

 

Once at a CiCi’s I saw a young boy take one of the cinnamon buns with the tongs and use the roll to wipe the icing off every other roll onto his plate and then walked away, I respected this

 

I'm disgusting but I have been craving CiCi's lately, specifically that buffalo chicken pizza. Ugh.

 

There was a place in my college town that had a BBQ chicken pizza that I loved. Never found a good one anywhere else.

 

CiCi's buffalo chicken pizza is garbage with shitty hot sauce on it. I mean, I've eaten it multiple times and will in future as well, but literally any other pizza with buffalo sauce on it would be a better substitute.

 

Blaze is one of my fav places on earth

They posted on Twitter yesterday that the double was gonna be the XXL feedbag, but I haven't seen it pop up yet and I haven't had a chance to see if they mentioned anything else on Twitter yet.
