Can't wait for spoonman to take another bite out of the space movie

 

i'm excited for this to a degree but Mitch's Star Wars hate is a little less lovable Spoonman and a little more every nerd on the internet that can't accept that anything is going to be better as a kid than in your mid-thirties. i'm not even a huge Star Wars guy but listening to anyone deafly shit on something and steamroll arguments otherwise isn't fun for me lol

I've never seen Force Awakens. Maybe I should sync it up with the podcast. I wonder if they'll just react/talk over the movie in real time or if they'll pause/rewind/fast forward...

just watch it before, TFA is the movie that made me a Star Wars fan, couldn't have cared less prior

 

Hmmm... I dunno....

I really have no desire to watch it. If I didn't love Mitch and Nick so much, I probably would have skipped this whole month of doubles.

 

I'm hoping it's not an actual commentary and they just sort of recap it and talk about it like some of the Action Boyz episodes. The straight up commentaries aren't really too enjoyable to listen to

 

also I want to marry Wiger, I can't believe he's still angry about Heathcliff

Assuming they won't be pausing and skipping around, I'll just wait till both parts are out and watch along

 

I loved the superego commentaries of Spider-Man and Alien. Only trouble with them was it was hard to sync up Alien for me for some reason. I had to pause the podcast and find where they were in the movie a couple times

 

i just called Trump "that orange buffoon" in a normal everyday conversation and didn't catch until after.

Really weird to release a movie commentary in two parts

 

They must have run out of ideas for Star Wars month pretty quickly

 

Pretty clear they did this just to have something easy to cover two weeks of Doughboys Doubles. Listening to it without the movie is pretty much worthless.

 

Yeah it was interesting enough to have on while working but nothing too captivating

 

I haven't listened yet. Thinking I'll just wait til next week and sync it up with the movie, but since I'm so disinterested in the movie, I wonder if I should just listen to it while working instead...

 

the commentary is going to do nothing for you without the movie, and probably nothing with it. wasn't very funny
