Man, posting that is an incredibly shitty thing to do.

 

Going back to a lot of the old episodes is going to be a bit uncomfortable after this considering how often they praised him and spoke about him in very positive terms. It's just what happens when someone turns out to not be who you thought they were.

 

Wonder if this means they’re officially leaving Feral

 

I never doubted that they were leaving Feral, just curious where they’re going to end up.

They also said there won’t be a new episode until January 11th (I assume main feed only, they already said we will get a double next week)

 

I just want those live eps to come out

 

If they're handling this themselves, then maybe they actually are going indie

I almost hope Mitch and Wiger pivot and cover another topic this year, just so they don’t die/are happier. And I agree, the show works because their dynamic, not the food.

 

Their consumption of garbage food every week is kind of worrying. They should team with the Dumbbells and eat weird, healthy stuff.

 

I would agree the appeal of the podcast is their dynamic but at the same time I was bored as shit when they talked about Super Mario Odyssey for an hour on the double. Maybe they could rebrand as a movie podcast.

 

I agree their dynamic is the selling point. I rarely go out to eat so most of the food they talk about I’ve never had.

 

Food is a good hook, this podcast has a special quality that would be lost if they only talked about movies or video games. The Mitch/Nick dynamic is the star, and they'd barely cover whatever the subject is, but food elevates this to another level.

 

They should just get Hick Wiger and Hike Mitchell to take over the show for them.

 

It now says Doughboys Media instead of Feral (or any other podcast network) on their feed so I think it's official they're doing it themselves
