yep. now he will either:

• let everyone who wants to leave... leave, and have a barren network.
• try to keep people locked in and fail miserably and successfully burn all bridges
• OR he just wants to be more direct with talent and address them before formally closing it all down

until his statement, this was a salvageable situation. since his statement, he has proven to be a small putrid man who is terrified of losing his tangential fame and social circle.

 

I feel like any podcast network would jump at the chance to get Doughboys so I am not too worried about the podcast. But everyone else surrounding it, and the less popular podcasts...i don't know, i hope everything works out.

 

Seriously. His statement just revealed him to be an egotistical douchenozzle and I don’t think rehab is going to help with that. I don’t want to support anything that still has his name on it.

 

SBI Audio will surely still be a thing because no way Harmon is going back. his penchant for promoting diversity will hopefully help a lot of the smaller shows.

None of this is even remotely surprising.

 

the Most ridiculous thing is he could have gave a REAL apology, worked on bettering himself and people would’ve probably forgave him. He just destroyed everything he worked for and his reputation himself with his arrogance and trolling

 

It was a bad statement, and everything after has made it seem worse and worse

Now he’s chastising Feral hosts for seeking new networks

I do really want the other two live eps out, and apparently they've recorded for this Star Wars month in January. Hope it can all transfer smoothly, I know they're real close with Dustin.

 

Getting sober is already an incredibly difficult and ugly process and it has to be 1000x harder to do it in these conditions. Dustin's always been a jackass though and unfortunately we're finding out that this behavior is much more common (and dangerous) than previously known. Someone close to him should really go sit down with him and make sure he's getting help and that he doesn't do anything else that could make things worse. I think he could have possibly had a humbled return after a long stint in rehab before his statement/twitter meltdown but now it's only best to dissolve Feral.

I would love to see Doughboys move to a new network because I think a network would give them freedom to do more with the show than they could do DIY. Let's be honest, Nick and Yusong can't do all that work themselves. I feel like the show's strong enough to give them a ton of leverage in negotiations.
