the Torchy's ep is an all-time great. pure hilarity from start to finish.

Nope, Houston. I ask the first question, they get my name wrong and my voice cracks. Gabrus is equally non stop.

 

awesome. yeah, this was peak Gabrus. i am sometimes very surprised he doesn't try to do some writing because he is the master of the punchline.

 

So glad the selfsuck has hit Doughboys and it came in full force today!

Gabrus is just the perfect guest for this show, his passion for food is only surpassed by his passion for jokes.

 

The last 10 minutes was pretty awful though. Terrible crowd, IMO.

I'm still listening, and I LOVE Gabrus, but he's full on steamrolling this. He's dropping gold along the way, but I wish he was less fucked up / dialed it back a bit.

I also actually feel bad for Mitch, it does sound like he's sort of bummed about all the fat jokes that night

 

Man, the audience was fucking terrible. Otherwise, top notch ep. I was dying at the drop.

as a Long Island native you would be well suited to listen to any episode with Gabrus. there are a lot of them and he only plays one character: an audio intern from Long Island and it's just an excuse for Gabrus to spend a whole podcast at 11. highly doubt you'd be disappointed.

 

Gino is literally just a vehicle for talking about way too detailed Long Island shit. he lists off entire lines of subway stops like 5 different times.

 

Great episode, but ooof what a terrible crowd especially by the end. Can we put a moratorium on jokes / references in the Q and A? They never land and are always awkward.
