My Christmas gift this year is going to be that honey butter shipped to me because I can't take it back on the plane
Yeah, I have a friend that works at a tshirt shop so I said "fuck it" and sent him the picture and he put it on a shirt. I'll take a pic when I get home tonight and post it.
Thoughts on Chick-fil-A: When the fries are good, they're great, but more often than not they are undercooked and under seasoned. The chicken is good, probably the best quality in fast food, the bun is pretty bad and often squished and soggy. Chick-fil-A sauce is the best sauce hands down of any fast food, but I want them to put it on the sandwich and not make me do the work. Do y'all dip the sandwich or throw the sauce on the bun/chicken? I don't really like the simplicity I want the lettuce and tomato, but it's not always good there. 9 times out of 10 I'm choosing the Wendy's, but it Chick-fil-A does satisfy a certain craving. I would like a Wendy's style sandwich with the Chick-fil-A chicken though. Fluctuates between 3 and 4 forks.
I guess I always just get the chicken nuggets at chick fil a, I thought this was normal and not as many people got the sandwich. Anyway the food is fucking great and I’ve found the fries to be consistent. Plus the milkshakes are amazing
Yeah, I should have touched it up a little. Like the borders are slightly yellow so it looks a little off against the white shirt around the edges, but overall, it doesn't look terrible. I think Mitch will like it.
Remember this caveat, the ones I visit and the ones the 'boys visit are California Chick-fil-As, I'm sure the originals are better, just like a Texas In N Out probably isn't completely indicative of a typical In N Out experience. I think they're right with the over expansion comments.
Yeah the only thing to get at ChikFilA is the #1 sandwich as it comes, with a packet of Polynesian or ChikFilA sauce
I'd say go for the Spicy Sandwich (if you like spicy) but yeah, the regular sandwich(es) with just pickles and your choice of sauce, is the way to go. Everyone needs to ask for the Honey Roasted BBQ sauce though. It's not like regular BBQ sauce. It's VERY similar to Chick-Fil-A sauce but not quite as sweet. I think it's way better.
I've had Polynesian, ChikFilA, and honey roasted BBQ. All good but Polynesian is the first I tried and my favorite
hahaha that yellow just looks like a big stain, and it'd be such an easy fix, perfect metaphor for this podcast
Yeah, I know. It more pronounced in the photo; isn't as obvious if you were wearing the shirt. But yeah, it's kinda perfect in its own way.
Show was great, I got to ask the first question and they got my name wrong and I stuttered, but Nick had a perfect answer. He also addressed the High and Might reveal, saying yeah he regrets saying it, but its too late now what can you do. Their review was dead on, as someone who also ate Shipley for the first time today they nailed it. Great time, go to a show if you guys can.
Hold on a second. Is Nick Wiger the singer of La Dispute? just kidding, I'm going through my old favorite albums right now and this was the first thing I thought of when I heard La Dispute for the first time in five years.
The show was a lot of fun. I was tempted to say something about chorus.fm, but I became a bumbling idiot at the M&G trying to give Mitch the shirt. They were all super nice and appreciative though. Great night.
