Weathers been too nice - we decided to finally watch hill house and then got hooked on unsolved. Dark was my first priority as well.

 

This show is one of my favorite superhero shows for sure, just two more episodes left of the first season to go!

 

Finished the second season last night. Really good. It’s a shame we couldn’t get the proper ending so I really hope we get a season 3

 

Really hope the big layoffs at Warner Bros doesn't affect this series

Maybe not the greatest sign that S2 only ordered 10 episodes when the first was 15 either? But then again, 15 feels like a ton for a series like this

Cast will have a panel at DC Fandome so.. hopefully some hope for a S3?

 

Jim Lee confirmed all DC Universe originals are moving to HBO Max, which I’m assuming includes Titans and Young Justice.

But DC Universe isn’t totally shutting down. Just sounds like it’s gonna be comic only.

Finally started to watch this, been great so far. Diane Guerrero's performance in this reminds me of Tatiana Maslany's in Orphan Black. She's so good at playing all these different characters.

 

Man, I need to finally watch this show...

Also, didn't realize Michelle Gomez was joining as a series regular this season. She was great in Sabrina

 

5 episodes into season 2 and I'm just finding it hard to care about Dorothy. Don't know if that makes me a horrible person lol

 

I had no idea this was coming back so soon! I'd just snagged both seasons on DVD at Walmart the other day haha

I think Dorothy's arc is too heavily tied to all the other characters for us to care about her on her own, if that makes sense

I didn't realize they'd be dropping three episodes at once. Midnight Mass is out tomorrow, so I might put this on hold for now. Maybe rewatch the first two seasons since I got them on DVD, and then binge the third.

 

I watched the first episode and realized there's so much I don't remember, so yeah I think I'll go back and rewatch the first two seasons then watch season three when all of it is out.

(btw Midnight Mass was really good)

 

Haha I came to the same realization as well. My memory is so bad with TV shows in the age of binge watching. Can't wait to check out Midnight Mass!

 

DOOM FORCE

 

Love this show. Thought the season was great.

 

I love how this show can be so silly and yet so poignant, and I know better than to expect some epic MCU-esque final showdown, but I'm still somehow left a little underwhelmed by the resolution of each season. I feel like the cliffhanger of season two, as understandably unplanned as it was, should've warranted more than the ten minutes it took to resolve in the first episode of the third season. And as much as I'm stoked that Michelle Gomez is sticking around, something about how the conflict between her character and Rita was resolved felt a little too neat also

 

I'm so late to most recent season but just wanted to say that I loved the "Forever Young" sequence in S3 Ep2.

 

apparently season 4 comes back this month!
