Yeah I don’t know if Olivia Wilde realizes that the entire focus of press for the movie is about her personal relationships. Obviously her dating Harry Styles was going to come up. But now there’s this, whatever is going on with her and Florence Pugh, and whether or not Sudeikus purposely had her served on stage at a public event.

As far as Shia goes, his reputation is bad enough. I don’t know why you’d lie in this situation. Of course if someone already in a negative spotlight can validly remove some of the heat they’re under, they will.

Also as far as the restorative justice remarks go, I don’t see that as an issue. Do I think he should rot in hell? Absolutely. But he’s going to be alive for who knows how much longer and if he can be brought to a place of no longer being dangerous to everyone around him that feels like a win. Especially given that Hollywood won’t actually cut people loose. He’s going to be around whether we like it or not. Ideally he’d lose his platform but if that isn’t an option (which it seems like it’s not) I’d rather someone be rehabilitated to being a significantly better person than a scenario like what Louis CK is doing. Again to be clear, I’m not pro-Shia and I’m in no way defending him. Dude’s complete trash and should face serious consequences

 

yeah, i mean, even if you believe he should rot in hell, which i do, it's kind of a easy scenario to see why she'd say that. so much of hollywood is "don't drag another person's name through the mud." it's so much easier to say "i hope for the best with him" than "fuck that piece of shit i hope he dies" lol.

 

Not that this is the mental health thread, but I just went through a traumatic experience in a workplace environment and I’ve been thinking about how most of the actions I took in response was knowing that what happened to me couldn’t be erased, but the behavior could potentially be corrected so no one else has to experience it in the future. And if someone had stepped in (who wasn’t being victimized) and tried to correct the behavior beforehand, I wouldn’t have gone through what I went through. We can’t change what happened to Twigs and anyone else Shia abused and terrorized. They have to deal with it for the rest of their lives. But I certainly hope that he gets to a place through whatever means to never put anyone else through that

Yeah isn't Flo's issue that they all had to pretend Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles weren't together when Jason Sudeikis was around with their kids

I've been in that situation before of having to be around a couple when everyone knows someone is cheating and it's pretty horrible.

there are rumors that Pugh was frustrated with Wilde as a director and that the cinematographer ended up doing a lot of the actual “directing”. Don’t know where that came from though

I’m pretty sure it’s that in the video of Olivia trying get Shia to stay, she refers to Florence as “Miss Flo” in a patronizing way while throwing her under the bus

 

I don’t normally follow this type of drama but god damn I cannot look away

 

I like the video of Chris Pine putting on sunglasses as they turn down the lights. That dude got a solid nap in while they showed the movie.
