Pretty sure 99% of the budget for this is solely in casting. Those rocket ships looked roughhhhhh. And was that will Ferrell piloting it?
Can't wait to see this. Love that the trailer has a humorous tone, that's exactly what I was hoping for
Why does he have his normal hair with a mullet wig on the back I think I'm in the minority of liking Vice more than The Big Short, but I feel like this movie is just going to be the same jokes we've all heard a million times over the past two years
So it’s a satire of government inaction, materialism, anti-intellectualism, selfishness, and American brashness
Yeah, I'm not sure about this. I know it's got a lot of BP hype, and Adam McKay is an academy shoe-in, but that looked more like a mess than something like The Big Short. Might be a bit in over his head.
the "sit tight and assess" scene looked so cringey bad lol, like trying way too hard. this looks like a "how can you make THESE actors look like bad actors" kinda movie.
it looks like the kind of satire that someone apeing McKay would make, but I guess that's how far he's fallen at this point
For some reason I always eat up the stereotypical Jonah Hill schtick, but other than that this looks so damn mediocre Does anyone have a PDF of the script? I know it's out there and can't find a living link (also interestingly didn't realize this was already in pre-pre-production before Covid)
It looks like Jonah has a bigger part than I was expecting which is great news I don't know, I'm still pretty damn excited for this
This doesn’t make me feel confident. https://www.indiewire.com/2021/11/dont-look-up-filmed-improv-scene-two-days-1234679833/
This looks funny, not like Succession funny but goofy funny Am I the only one that gets a kick of out seeing actors play atypical characters? Leo never plays a guy like this, that alone is entertaining to me
