Don Broco Band

One of my favourite bands going in the UK at the moment they have some seriously catchy songs.

Glad there's a thread for these guys! New single is great, and the video is ridiculous in the best way possible.

 

Holy shit that video was a blast. The song, too. Is there a new album coming already?

 

It might be just a one-off for now? Not sure tbh.

 

Just saw these guys a couple weeks ago with State Champs. They put on a great show. I was shocked they were the opening band of the night.

 

Holy moly. Thats how you do a music video! Haven't seen something like that in a long time. I love that they incorporated the creepy dancing cowboy guy into this too.

*Rob Zombie would totally approve of this.

 

Never listened to an album, but was a big fan of You Wanna Know. Didn't realise none of their albums had been released in the US.

 

The new music video was mental.

Apparently they sent out an invite to all fans for Toms wedding to be live streamed so everyone could enjoy the moment...I bet people tuning in got a massive shock haha!

 

Yeah I heard about that too haha, that's so funny.

 

I think SharpTone released Automatic in the US towards the end of last year and began promoting them here.

 

New single called "Technology" leaked and it rips. Follows the same direction as "Pretty" and "Everybody" by blending the dancey and electronic aspects of Automatic with the heaviness of their earlier work. It's weird that it's "out there" but no one else has heard anything about it.

I like this band. I thought Priorities was pretty good, but Automatic was pretty boring/bland (outside of the Singles). I still have faith they have a great album in them but I'm not completely sold yet

 

Automatic is such a front-loaded album. Money Power Fame, You Wanna Know and Wrong Place Wrong Time should've replaced some of the second half's bland songs.

 

I like the two recent singles more than most of Automatic tbh

Pretty incredible allegations really. Interested to see how this turns out, it doesn't look good.

I think they were quite hit and miss with the singles. I loved Everybody, Pretty and Stay Ignorant, but they others were pretty forgettable.

Still give this a go today though.

 

Didn't know about the allegations. Should I listen to this or not?

 

The band came out and said it was all false and they would be perusing legal action. For that reason alone I wrote off the band. Not really worth it to me to get attached, can't imagine any reason for the allegations to be made up, I believe the victims.

 

Come out to LA is a damn TREAT.
