Kind of a weird thing to tell your fans that your last two records were “cash grabs”. You pretty much just told your fans that you’ve been completely inauthentic for like 5 years ha.

I always assumed she was more of a rapper that’s why her live pop vocals either weren’t very good or she was lip syncing.

Yes she has a very weird sense of humor but is clearly joking

 

I’ve been occasionally hearing that she is basically an underground rapper at heart so there might be some truth to it. She wouldn’t be the first rapper to admit something like that. “I dumbed down for my audience to double my dollars…”.
