based on the riyl you're all giving this, i am probably gonna love this. i remember listening to fox but have no idea what i thought about it
I’m liking this more with each listen as songs start to distinguish themselves from each other, the closing track is excellent
omg the recurring intro part to "prom hell" is straight out of "wasted days" but it's a lower key i think. on first listen im kind of wondering if the riyl being that spot on is actually a strength, seems like there were a lot of guitar parts that sounded like they were from other songs. but like idk can't be mad that they have good taste this is pretty good, i maybe set my expectations too high but it's good enough that i think i'll like it more as i listen to it. that ending three song run is the best on the record imo, "wrist" in particular
I'm really into this on first listen. Really raw and dynamic. And I'm digging the vocals. Canonball into Ender an early highlight.
Literally came here to say this. Especially on a track like Prom Hell. But this also becomes my biggest problem with the record...that the lyrics (much like CN) are very hard to make out.
Was able to grab the yellow variant from the triple crown store. Could have sworn it was sold out, checked again and it was there.
This thing is fucking good. Can't quite put my finger on who they remind me of, but they take me back a few years listening to this. Edit: Ordered the yellow vinyl to support this, it's so good.
The last quote of that p4k review is something else and perfectly describes how I feel about this record. Gonna be getting a lot of spins from me during this isolation, I can tell.
Looks like the vinyl is sold out again. Glad I was able to snag a copy when they were back in stock yesterday!
