The Glass Beach album was one of my favorites of last year and I watched multiple variants sell out and STILL held off cause I didn’t think it was responsible. But as soon as I see the words “instant classic” and “don’t miss out on /250” I cave on an album I haven’t even heard. I’m spineless. But these songs are super good and I’ve been highly anticipating this since I heard “Fox” so
here’s why I think Melee is going to resonate with so many people: it has the abrasive nature of a PUP record, the melody of early TGUK, and the ethos of Modern Baseball. This album is spectacular.
Pre ordered after listening to the two singles in my car on repeat before a meeting and doing all I could to not start boxing my steering wheel.
Preordered the /250 but the website glitched. I got charged but no confirmation email. Reached out... I hope I still get it!
ordered the splatter even though im moving at the end of the month and will have to change the address
Saw these guys tonight in Kansas (Real Kansas, not Trump Kansas). Super sparse crowd, but they still killed it.
albums I think about when I listen to Melee: Celebration Rock by Japandroids Something To Write Home About by The Get Up Kids Based On A True Story by The Starting Line The Dream Is Over by PUP Holy Ghost by Modern Baseball
