Season 2 begins Sept 14! New trailer for the season: Bill Hader holds back tears, Fred Armisen dances in 'Documentary Now!' exclusive teaser
My fav last season was definitely the two part music doc, it was perfect. There were a couple I didn't like, but overall I'm definitely a fan
The Vice parody was the best. I think the 2 part finale was the only other one that I even really enjoyed though. I'm a big fan of both Armisen and Hader so I'll probably watch S2 though.
not quite my trio of choice, but yeah! EDIT: oh time slot, not just in current seasons. Yeah that's certainly a bit more wild.
I've only seen The Kid Stays in the Picture, but season one I'd only seen The Thin Blue line and I still found it funny
Hahahaha I liked the first season, but felt like the docs I hadn't seen before fell a little flat for me. The Vice one and the Blue Jean Committee ones were great though.
Anyone watch this? I can only find episode 2 online (The Jiro Dreams of Sushi one) - Is that all that was aired?
This week's episode was amazing, absolutely loved it. Also, a full release from the band is streaming now Listen to Fred Armisen and Bill Hader’s New Talking Heads Parody Album | Pitchfork
This episode was hilarious. I am honestly so impressed with how good they are at nailing these when you compare them with the original docs.
I think Juan was probably my favorite from this season, which overall I enjoyed much more than the first.
