I mean, there’s no doubt on my mind that the series will be massively better with Russell back. No idea what he will do, but it will at the very least be fun and interesting.

Sick of David Tennant but it'll be great to have Catherine Tate back.

I would rather have Capaldi, Smith, and/or Amy and Rory more than either of those two.

Donna’s my second favorite companion begins Capaldi-era Clara. Tennant is fine.

not surprised at all by this but it'll be great to see Donna again. thinking Smith at least will make an appearance too, he always talks about how much he loved the show

I'd sooner drop the TARDIS on my foot than ever watch Catherine Tate again.

    I do not exist.

This made me think: can the TARDIS actually land on people? Has it ever done that? I know it’s materialised around people, particularly during the Moffat era.

HOW MUCH WOULD IT HURT TO DROP IT ON YOUR FOOT?!?

one of Capaldi’s episodes said that if the TARDIS landed with its full weight it would crack open the Earth. so yeah that would probably hurt on your foot!

Really enjoyed her in Heartstopper so that's welcome news! Very curious about her being called Rose. 0% chance that's a coincidence

Definitely the best of the Chibnall specials. As is a running thing with this era, I don’t think they gave Jodie a chance to really shine, but it capped off this era really nicely and makes me really excited for the future. Also there’s a scene in this that gave me the biggest smile of anything in this era.

that scene between Tegan and Five really, really got me. say what you want about all the ways Chibnall's writing is often bad, but he can write a dialogue between two characters like nobody's business. never woulda thought the moment in Jodie's last episode that'd have me fighting back tears would be an Adric reference

also holy shit, Ian!!! the only person missing in that last scene was Carole Ann Ford. don't get me wrong there's plenty to critique, the TImeless Children arc leading to absolutely nothing is hysterical, the Chekhov's Gun of the memories the Doctor threw down in the TARDIS just not coming back, as well as the literal gun Yaz had that she never used lmao. but man that was so much fun fuck it, Chibnall's best
