MoM is definitely one of the few post-Endgame highlights but I wish it was a little bit more spooky with the horror.

 

I also wish that rumored Tom Cruise cameo would’ve worked out because that sounded awesome.

 

I liked Multiverse of Madness a lot, but to pretend it's better than No Way Home because people have a problem with Jon Watts just making a film and not having any "personal stamp" is a real cringey "intellectual" way of looking at it, IMO.

 

It’s a toss up between MOM and NWH. MOM has some cringey moments and NWH relies solely on its nostalgia. MOM has some cool cinematography while NWH has a good ending.

Both are above D&W

 

I've definitely enjoyed MoM much more on repeat viewings than I did in the theater. Shang-Chi is still easily my favorite post-Endgame film, though.

 

I just enjoy MOM much more. But I know this is a response to someone else from a different thread.

 

“Personal stamp” =/= elevated, pretentious, etc.

I think it’s fair to consider “bland” a negative attribute for a piece of media.

 

Now let’s get that Shang-Chi sequel

 

That is fair, but I don't agree that No Way Home was bland.

 

Well the post is in here too, which is why I moved mine. Unless you're talking about something else.

 

Perhaps I am mistaken.

 

Also, and to be clear, I'm not saying a personal stamp or wanting one is pretentious. I think dismissing a film out of hand because of not having one is a little bit, though.

 

I think MoM is just a better film than NWH. Both are better than Deadpool & Wolverine.

I haven't seen The Flash and I probably won't.

 

Not wanting to support Flash is totally understandable. I pirated it haha.

 

I've seen a couple clips of The Flash and that's all I'll see. That whole final battle and that cameo sequence were both horrible
