In fairness, we don’t know if Sean is being hyperbolic. If he’s only ever seen the movies Citizen’s Kane and Hot Rod, then of course this is an unmitigated disaster compared to those achievements in cinema. Need the full context to determine.

Citizen Kane did wonders for the evolution of cinema with camera angles, film techniques, etc but it is boring as hell.

Citizen Kane is a great film. I watched it for a class in college. Absolutely deserves its place in history.

People can think what they want. But sometimes it’s boring and doesn’t really communicate anything of value. They are free to do this forever and ever.

 

It really depends on the context. If you're constantly doing extreme stunts and having once-in-a-lifetime experiences, I can see hell being boring
