    Did it kill your brain?

I think you meant to say “watched this last night for the first time.”

Wanda was maybe the only thing i did like. Some of her scenes near the end were so intense. It was just so alll over the place and just felt like a story mess. Trying to catch up on what ive missed before antman.

This was such a fun breath of fresh air in a tedious, oversaturated landscape of serviceable superhero stuff. It had some of Marvel Studios’ common flaws and wasn’t some kinda masterwork of the genre, but it was just… rad. And, I don’t even really care about Doctor Strange.

Too bad it’s settled in as A Marvel Movie Which Is Bad to a lot of nerds for daring to have a lil bit of personality.

    You right.

I'm baffled as to how this movie got made like this because it's just all over the fucking place and not good

It got made because not everyone feels the same way, but go on, get all the bile out of your system.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I liked this movie but c'mon let's not act like Having Some Personality is the thing people are critiquing it for lmao. there are some very fundamental flaws it's absolutely fair to point out with this one

Is that a common statement that people don’t like transitions like that or are they arguing against nothing?

I saw a lot of people shitting on the transitions in that film on Twitter when it came out.

There is no cultural force so simultaneously dominant and insecure as Marvel. You can almost see the flop sweat in those posts.

People in those replies were actively spoiling stuff from the comics and potentially future movies because they're so immature and can't stand when someone has a different opinion than them so be careful.

Marvel is bad, but the gaming community is worse.

I think the transitions were goofy and didn’t fit the film. I’d rather if it was a full Raimi film than Raimi flourishes in an MCU film because I don’t think that worked well.

I just love the concept of going into a real review for like the NY Times or something and opening it with that.

Real talk, the only criticism I have of the film is that I don't think they made it clear enough that Wanda was being manipulated by the Darkhold.

Not that I want to take away her agency, but WandaVision left her in an okay place prior to that final scene that clearly implied the Darkhold was having an effect on her.

So to have her be the one making the decisions here is completely unspooling the character development she had in WandaVision, whereas it makes more sense to me if the Darkhold is at least partially responsible.

In both cases it still retreads the same ground, but one is more justifiable for me than the other.
