Also never thought I’d see Ant-Man and the Wasp at #1

 

Having Ant-Man & The Wasp at #1 and the first Ant-Man near the bottom is an interesting pair of opinions. I feel like those two are pretty close in quality

 

This list would take him right off my draft board.

Just got finished a rewatch because I'm too impatient to wait for tomorrow. Think I loved it even more the 2nd time

 

Mostly liked this. I don't think I would have if it didn't have Raimi stuff all over the back half. The Black Bolt bit was gnarly.

Excited to finally watch this

 

Really enjoyed this. Kinda wish I saw it in theaters but I honestly had a bit of a Marvel hangover after No Way Home and cramming all the shows and needed a break lol. From the dreamwalking on the movie was so Raimi. Definitely in my upper half of MCU

 

About halfway through and this is fun but I can’t get over how much I absolutely fucking loathe dr strange.

 

The character? Or just the MCU version?

This was fine. About what I expected based on reviews

 

I can’t put my finger on it really. I think it’s mostly that I don’t like Cumberbatch. I had to think when you asked and I can’t quite put my finger on what I dislike about the MCU Strange vs comic book Strange. I will caveat that and say I’m not a huge fan of comic strange and rarely read Strange books outside of writers that I love doing runs.

 

Watched this last night. Might just be MCU fatigue but I thought this was just ok and didn’t really live up to the expectations of the title.

Definitely some cool sequences but I truly hate Wanda being a legitimate homicidal villain.

I feel like this movie had the potential to be a better No Way Home with Wanda going to Strange for help finding a universe where she could live with the boys and Vision (remember him Marvel?). Strange could say no but Wanda could steal the Darkhold to traverse the multiverse and Strange could ise America to help him follow. Wanda could be creating incursions inadvertently making her less of a straight up evil character. And the. It would have been great to spend more time in each universe- Fox’s Fantastic Four, Sony’s Ghost Rider, Ang Lee’s Hulk, etc.

I dunno just thought about on the ride to work haha.

 

Yeah Wanda is the worst part of this. She was great in Wandavision but whatever dialogue and direction Olsen given in this was just very off. The reveal of her turn was handled so poorly too.

 

Yeah I don't know how much more of this "House MD with magic powers" shit I can take.
