I guess it depends what movie they’re setting up with the post credits scene. If it’s a Strange sequel, this one took 6 years to come. Obviously with some major Avengers off the board, a third will likely come faster than this one. But I would hope mutants wouldn’t be held back until then. It could be done in a general x-men movie with Strange like he was in No Way Home. I like the idea of mutants evacuating to our universe though. Just not sure if it would spin off from the mid credits scene here. I just don’t think they’ll wait potentially that long to get us legit MCU x-men.

I was thinking more that they could do an X-Men movie, and even the upcoming Fantastic Four movie, without any references to the larger MCU to disguise the fact that it's taking place in an alternate universe, and then have Secret Wars or whatever bring the universes together.

But you're probably right, the incursion might be a red herring and turn out to be something smaller stakes and more personal to Strange.

Movie was kinda boring tbh. Best part was him summoning demons to his reanimated corpse.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

i can see a lot of valid criticisms for this here thing but... boring is not one lmao

I thought this was a lot of fun. The people calling it "gory" or a "horror movie" are extremely exaggerating though lol

Props to them for actually going through with just straight up making Wanda the villain, and a really deadly villain too

I just got out of the theater and I'm absolutely stunned Disney/Kevin Feige gave the green light for something this bad to be made.

None of the cameos of X-Men/Fantastic Four felt earned, the acting from America was awful, the editing/direction was shockingly poor and it's an incredibly laughable way to end a character like Scarlett Witch (presuming she's even dead which she most likely isn't which is why they didn't show the body).

My favorite part was when they decided to throw music at each other in slow motion because he got knocked into a piano.

The Illuminati cameos in this were basically exactly what I was worried Tobey and Andrew's roles in NWH would be

If I rerank the movies, this might be on the bottom.

I am kind of curious if meeting this Illuminati and their subsequent demise gives Strange any ideas in the future about forming his own Illuminati, especially if incursions are going to be a thing moving forward.

There's too many upcoming Marvel things. Like we don't need a spinoff series of Agatha from Wandavision.

    Just stop it.

By the way I don't want to seem like I'm a downer on the MCU! I liked Falcon and Winter Soldier and some of the other stuff!

That's fine. I mean, you've shared your opinion and that's cool. No need to keep going on about it though.
