It’s a pretty consistent 20-25 minutes of commercials and trailers starting at the scheduled start time at mine.

I wonder how many people per screening miss this line. I missed it in mine. There’s definitely something off with the dialogue mix there, right?

Can we talk about how awkward the Bruce cameo felt? The end credit scene was good, but the actual scene in the film felt incredibly forced and no one in my cinema laughed, which made the entire scene awkward.

Didn’t feel awkward to me. Just felt like a fun cameo like any other Bruce cameo in a Raimi movie. I’m here for it.

The Bruce cameo was so great. Pizza Poppa always gets paid.

He definitely got a better ending than he would've with his original cameo

After last night, I’m fully on board with the Darkhold being the true villain and that Wanda was it’s victim. Much like Anakin Skywalker, grew up with tragedies and loss and reacted strongly to these things. Then the Darkside/Palpatine influenced and corrupted him to do awful things and go against former allies. Ultimately a child figure is able to cut through the darkness to show the truth and gives them a chance to come back. They do turn back and destroy the dark element that corrupted them (I’m going to pretend that Rise of Skywalker doesn’t exist and Anakin did kill Palpatine). Unfortunately it seems they didn’t turn back in time to save themselves. Although, I’m also on board with her potentially being alive due to the red flash that occurs after the throne crumbled.

My guess is that red flash was her sealing herself away in some kind of magic suspended animation. So she’s buried under the rubble but alive.

Was surprised by how violent this was, at least in Marvel standards. All the third eye stuff looked real dumb, especially as the final shot. The first post credit scene looked like a parody movie

When Strange and Wong are fighting the Octopus at the beginning, for some reason somebody just drives a motorcycle straight into the octopus and dies and I couldn't really get past how absurd that was. Like yeah yeah there's a giant alien in the street fucking shit up but this is the only way i can get to work so lemme just scooch on by

Makes sense, they never shot anything. As if they actually got Cruise to do it and then cut him.

Better to save Cruise for Secret Wars anyways instead of having him as a member of the Illuminati

I didn't read any of the rumored cameos but I was pretty underwhelmed with what we got

Clea is Dormammu's niece in the comics, and they were definitely headed to the Dark Dimension at the end, so my guess is this time it is Dormammu who has come to bargain.

I finally saw this today. Really enjoyed it.

Don't have much to add that everyone hasn't already said. Was surprised by how hard they went, not just with the violence, but with Wanda.

That scene at the end with her kids being afraid of her ripped out my heart. Brutal.

Very interested in how they pursue the incursion thing and if this is how they end up getting mutants into the MCU, by evacuating an entire universe.

Finally, this movie has taught me that America is a fucking stupid name for a kid.

Just saw this for a second time. I didn’t like it much more, maybe a little less. Still about a 6/10 for me. The whole movie just feels uneasy. Like borderline demonic. I get that’s what they were probably going for with Scarlet Witch and the darkhold, but I don’t think I’ll revisit this.
