I don't know if that's the case necessarily. Since Kang most likely doesn't exist in the Raimi-verse or the Amazing-verse, those universes were probably already part of the Sacred Timeline before Loki and Sylvie messed everything up.

I haven’t watched Loki since it came out. But didn’t the multiverse already? I am sure we will learn more in a few days.

Marvel Studios lore has truly lost me, lol. Oh well, anyways. Forget if these couple clips were posted here:

I’m gonna be very happy if there are more of these vibes throughout the film. I hope for another non-franchise Raimi film after this much more than I do more Raimi Marvels, but I also wouldn’t mind him eventually doing another one of these.

It was my understanding from Loki that the multiverse existed, but the TVA was pruning all timelines that branched off from the Sacred Timeline, which meant the multiverse couldn't properly exist.

As for the Raimi-verse and Webb-verse, that's operating under the faulty assumption that these are the same exact universes from those particular films and not just a replica universe that's part of the MCU.

If we presume that no universe existed prior to Loki other than the Sacred Timeline, it stands to reason that any timeline that appeared in No Way Home and will appear in MOM is a timeline that is now possible because of what happened in Loki.

Now, I get it, you might think, that can't be possible because then the Raimi-verse and Webb-verse couldn't exist because that would require branching that occurred prior to the events in Loki, I don't think that logic necessarily holds.

Meaning, I don't think a timeline has to branch off after the events of Loki to have been made possible by the events of Loki. I can't explain right now exactly why I think this is the case, but it's how I'm currently perceiving things.

The Sacred Timeline wasn't "one" timeline, it was more of a controlled multiverse. You can see in the sky at the end of Loki that it's clearly a bunch of parallel universes, or "timelines" woven together, not a single one. Every universe that did not result in the rise of Kang was allowed to persist and be part of the overall "Sacred Timeline". Any universe that was on a course to result in the rise of Kang was pruned. So if the Raimi-verse and the Amazing-verse (or whatever similar-but-different versions existed in No Way Home, whatever) were never going to result in the rise of Kang, then they would have been allowed to exist as part of the Sacred Timeline. Which would mean that they could have crossed over into No Way Home even without what happened in Loki.

This seems to make the most sense. I don’t think we will see the effect of Loki until Quantummania.

Alright, this wasn't how I originally perceived things, but after doing some research and reading an interview with the writer, I have to concede that this is the case.

Although, just to correct one small point, the issue it appears wasn't to prune timelines that resulted in Kang, but timelines that didn't result in He Who Remains. So besides Kang, we can now have Immortus, Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurion, etc.

My guys in the Philippines were bragging about how they were seeing it earlier than the rest of the world. I joked about them not having jobs if they spoiled it lol

The boss ditches work for the premiere and becomes the hero. I do it and I become the enemy.

    That doesn’t seem fair.

Loki is responsible for the Avengers forming and for the multiverse falling apart.

Time to play the game of skimming early reactions and sifting useful information out of initial hyperbolic excitement. Hopefully some nuanced reviews start coming in soon.

It does sound like there’s a lot of Raimi in there, which is easier to believe based on the couple clips they released from an early monster fight. Hopefully ratio between his style and Marvel Studios house style hits a balance that works for me personally.

It is nice to see these early reactions mostly gloss over cameos, which could simply be spoiler avoidance, but I hope mostly means they aren’t distractingly overblown.

(Though as always, I’m most interested in the @Zilla early reaction that’s always fair and worthwhile.)
