Also, just have him play plastic man

It seems like he is playing Balder the Brave which is quite random.

I’d love it if he was just playing a random guy who ended up in the Illuminati. Just happened to be at the right place at the right time. No powers.

Or good Mysterio from the Raimiverse.

Why get a Raimi-lite when you can get the original?

The only mildly disappointing thing is I'd like to see Giacchino back as composer

Giacchino is great but I still feel like Danny Elfman is a better fit. Elfman’s score for Raimi’s Spider-Man feels iconic to me, and his work with Tim Burton solidified his sinister/scary output which should work nicely in this movie.

I don't think we can know for sure if this is "Raimi-lite" until we see the movie tbh

I was very underwhelmed with Elfman's Age of Ultron and Justice League scores, which are his last two forays into the superhero genre.

They're saying that Derrickson is "Raimi-lite", so why go with him when you can have actual Raimi.

Between Batman and NWH, I've gotten my Giacchino fix lately. Curious to see what Elfman does

I definitely agree with you that those two scores were very disappointing and sound dated, but I still think he has it in him to do something great since he’s working with Raimi again with a fantastical superhero and a wild story.

It's more that Giacchino did the first AND No Way Home, which to me makes getting rid of him slightly unfortunate, but I get that he's associated with Raimi.

I refuse to believe that this will feel like a Raimi film outside of the occasional small moment until a critic I can trust says so, or until I see it with my own two eyes. That’s not a judgment call on how fun a Marvel Studios joint it could end up being, or an assumption on what Raimi’s personal experience with this is. But, there’s too many red flags for me to assume more than passing glimpses of his style.

Danny Elfman doing the score is cool, though. Honestly forgot about that. His work on Josstice League was possibly the only genuinely good thing about that chopped up disaster. Something about his specific style just lights up part of my brain that says “superheroes are fun.”

I’m expecting a few scenes that are are heavy with Rami influence while the majority of the movie is centered around them and maintaining the traditional Marvel taste.

Similar to Ragnorak, you can clearly feel and see that it it was written and directed by Waititi, but within the framework of Marvel. It just won’t be like other fully-framed Waititi films when you compare it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Disney tries to get her account deleted.

Posting something like that in advance is not the best idea.

    Professor X (Patrick Stewart)

    Mr Fantastic (John Krasinski)
    Black Bolt (Anson Mount)
    Clea (Charlize Theron)
    Balder the Brave
    Magneto
    More to come….

Being that Ian isn’t in the film, we are getting Fassbender’s Magneto which is amazing.

I wouldn't complain about a James McAvoy cameo either, not that I expect it to happen.

This whole multiverse thing is a pretty brilliant way to do fan service huh. Just a gold mine of "hey! look at this guy!"

I preferred his old story of "How could it have been me in the trailer? I was at home watching the game"
