From what I can gather between the article and Evan's post, he was in a relationship with a woman in the industry that was inherently unbalanced power-wise and she felt she had been coerced into having sex with him.

Edit: Reminder for everyone who reads his post/apology to not read the fucking comments.

The conversation about coercion in "consensual" relationships is very needed, beyond the acts we consider to be more heinous or "evil," since more subtle coercive behaviors can still lead to trauma for the coerced.
