The one time I was Julien Baker live sadly wasn’t that enjoyable (I had just walked 5 miles, it was noon, at a massive festival stage that had maybe 100 people watching)

yeah a festival seems like the wrong atmosphere to see her in. I saw her in a liberal arts college auditorium and she was phenomenal

 

I wouldn't drive 720 miles for a show if John Lennon and George Harrison came back to life and the Beatles reunited haha, that's impressive

 

haha ive done it for a few people to. its worth it imo. not a lot of my favorite artists come to Edmonton very frequently, so sometimes i have to decide "okay i can do the trip and enjoy music i love, or maybe never experience an artist i love live"... i wish more people toured through here, its a big trek to vancouver or seattle haha

I wish I had taken more pictures but this was back when memory cards were fucking expensive and batteries in cameras died way too fast.

surprised that video and some others I have actually sound decent. maybe some day I'll post them to youtube.
