No matter how many times I've seen Seinfeld it never gets old. On rewatch 1,004 of the series currently

The "representatives" are owned by corporations and lobbyists. The only way to get rid of that is campaign finance reform, and to overturn citizens united. Those probably won't happen for a long time since theyll probably own the Supreme Court for a while now.

This is true but not even my real problem. I take issue with the deceptive nature of the entire set up. I would expect the average American sees their hospital bill of, I'll stick with $80,000 and thinks wow thank god for my insurance. I only have to pay $500 but they pay $79,500! When in reality they're paying a fraction of that. I don't see why a patient leaving the hospital with no insurance should be charged more than what the actual insurance would have to pay. $10,000 is still a massive burden, but it's a hell of a lot better than $80,000. Maybe people could avoid bankruptcy for, you know just trying to live. I'm honestly just ranting right now carry on.

(And this is not even close to being an adequate solution to health care. It's time for single payer.)

lol I'll take the half win... one day I'll get around to it but when I say I'll check something out I'm really talking in a time frame of in like... the next year or two haha I've got to be inspired to listen to something! When my musical pendulum eventually (and inevitably) swings back to being in the mood for something a little more hard rock, they will be on the short list. Right now I'm in a more pop, rap, or chill music vibe.

Speaking of Seinfeld, I still haven't actually watched it, but I'm on Season 8 of Curb, and that show just gets better and better as more of the jokes/Larry's quirks repeat themselves. I laugh out loud at every episode and that's really rare for me watching a show.

I'll start Seinfeld once I catch up on Curb.

That's what I meant by the racket. It's intentionally deceptive and complicated in order to keep the average person in the dark and at the will of the insurance company. I completely agree.
