I'm most definitely going to check out them out properly once and for all. At least their first 3 records and most likely the other 2 at some point as well.

 

The last two records you should listen to are their first and last.

The last one is not that great, and much different from other stuff they've done.

The first one is very raw, and mostly instrumental, but it's great

 

Worlds Apart is probably my second favorite,but it does have some filler. Lost Songs is more of a straight forward Post-hardcore album that’s easier to get into.

 

All these bands are making me think of Sights & Sounds and Monolith. What a great record. The production by Devin Townsend is impressive on that one. It covers you with that beautiful ocean of sound, which the great Canadian is known for. A very nice atmospheric post-hardcore record.

RIYL: Thrice, O'Brother

 

I saw Sights & Sounds with Moneen in a tiny venue in Ottawa in 2009/2010 great show. What a live band Moneen was. Wow.

 

This Kaddisfly album is too long. it's good and I like the 2nd half better than the 1st half, but it's just too many songs I think.

They really remind me of Incubus only less electronic/catchy.

 

Somebody give me a rec and I'll listen right now.

Haha yeah I mean, neither of those bands are exactly like Dredg. But I'd definitely argue if you like either of them then you'd probably like Dredg, or at least Catch Without Arms
