I thought that was a fitting label for it.

It was fun to come up with genres for a few bands on that short list off the top of my head.

I don't know why your post laughing at my post got more likes though.

The title track is great for running.

I think it's a great record front to back. "Violet Hill" is one of the best singles they've put out.

Agreed. It’s basically a Brian Eno record, anyway

    Shut the FFFFFFRESHFISH UP

I was also going to recommend Last.fm, although I haven't used it in a while I probably should. @elemenohpe you can sync Last.fm with Spotify and other streaming services, and there's also iOS, Android, and desktop apps for it.

Edit: Track My Music — Last.fm

    Trusted

It’s really neat, and that’s a good price

Yeah, that's a good one too. Coldplay has always been a "greatest hits" band for me. I enjoy their singles, but I haven't spent much time diving into their albums.

X & Y has some gems on it. The Hardest Part for example.

I'd recommend listening to Parachutes, A Rush, and Viva front to back for sure. Those are good the whole way through

    X&Y is 80% good
    Mylo is 50% good
    Ghost is 75% good
    Head Full is 50% good

    A Rush > Viva > Parachutes > XY > Ghost > Head > Mylo

Where would you rank Chris Martin's recent guest spot on Modern Family?

Have you heard this release @Larry David ? It was released as a free download on their website back in the day.

The version of "The Hardest Part/ Postcards Far Away" on it is so goooood.

Edit: oops forgot to include the link: LeftRightLeftRightLeft by Coldplay

I just can not get into X & Y, idk. I even rate AHFOD above it

    Ghost Stories is underrated imo

I know Mylo Xyloto is polarizing but "Hurts Like Heaven" is a top 5 song of theirs imo

I've always enjoyed Yellowcard's cover of "Fix You":

I still haven't listened to AHFOD because I'm afraid I'm really not going to like it lol

Didn't know this existed thanks for sharing will listen to it now. Southern Air is such a good record.

Yeah, I love Southern Air. Probably my second favorite Yellowcard record behind Paper Walls, though some days it might be number one.

Yeah, they did a really good job with it. Sean's violin is great. I think it was an iTunes bonus track for the album.

Also this EP is arguably up there with Coldplay's finest work and never gets mentioned: The Blue Room E.P. by Coldplay

I also really dig 3 of the 5 tracks on their new EP. Too lazy to include the titles track 1, 3 & 5
