Since a lot of you are asleep I have a hot take

I uh... kinda like Coldplay. Not the best band obviously, but I enjoy their albums.

 

they're great live as our Maroon 5, well Maroon 5 was at least when they made good music

 

It honestly shouldn't even be a hot take cause their first two albums are fucking fantastic. Parachutes is one of my favorite albums of all time, and the titular song for A Rush of Blood to the Head is one of my favorite songs of all time. They eventually became hot garbage, but those two albums are near and dear to my heart.

At their worst they’re inoffensive and bland and at their best they’re anthemic and relatable
