In general yeah. Albums like that or O'Brother's Disillusion are best experienced as the main focus of entertainment, rather than put on in the background.

Listening to Jay-Z "4:44" now (just remembered my YouTube Red account comes with Google Play Music, and since Spotify is the only service that album isn't on this solves my issue of not being able to listen to it).
