@Bloodsucker II sucked the life out of the thread again.

 

I think this character would have to be @Colin Your Enthusiasm the show basis would be a Canadian that works from home but has issues with their work/life balance. it would obviously be a comedy where different things came up due to him being in canada and being canadian and also due to working from home (I work from home sometimes and I know the issues that that can present)

I picture it as being kind of like a mix of Flight of the Conchords and Curb with a healthy dose of The Office mixed in.

yep. going to bed soon. work sucks. trying to have something to show for the work I did this weekend, finally got something working so that's good at least. need to go to bed though, kids are going to be up at 7.

true. yesterday I went upstairs to get them some clothes and while I was up there they had gotten themselves a snack from the pantry. they are allowed to do this, they have a little basket with snacks for them. when I came downstairs they were eating sugar out of the bag and had made a huge mess on the floor.

the bag of sugar was not an approved snack. just clarifying that.

 

I just got back from LA and realized I forgot my toothbrush in my fiancée’s apartment . Good thing I thought to brush before I left lol

If the thread gets a spin-off thread it should be about @The Mysterious. It’ll be like Lost where things just gets more mysterious and confusing and we’re all actually just in Hawaii

Quickie reviews of the albums I listened to this weekend:

• glassjaw - Material Control: not my cup of tea but still good in its own right (+)
• Taylor Swift - Reputation: still not a TayTay fan. She needs to stop hanging out with Mr. Genre-lots Ed Sheeran. Not an inherently bad album though. (*)
• Miguel - War & Leisure: pretty good album, might grow on me more and crack my top 20 (+)
• Sia - Everyday is Christmas: Sia-fied Christmas songs, not bad, not great, wouldn’t be terrible on a Christmas playlist (*)
• Weezer - Pacific Daydream: it’s like they kind of don’t care about making “good” music so much as they’re just trying to make radio hits (*)
• Future - FUTURE: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (-)
• Future - HNDRXX: oh hey this is actually kinda—zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (*)
• Björk - Utopia: shame on me for not listening to more Björk. This also might crack my top 20 for the year (+)
