Still considering going to the thrice/circa show here this week. But it’s all the way across town and I’d be going by myself, plus my office holiday party is the next night (and at the same venue, no less).

Who played last when you saw them? I wonder if that could be a factor.

Circa played last in Cleveland but I believe Thrice and Circa have been playing 65 minute sets regardless if they play last or not.

I drove 2 hours and went myself. No excuses!

Circa played last. No band had a backdrop, but thrice and circa used the LEDs. Maybe it was a venue thing. Have they been alternating? Every post I’ve read about the tour had circa last.

 

I thought I had read somewhere that they’d been alternating but maybe I confused it with something else.

I was in a Thrice closed group on Facebook I had to get out of. Got tired of reading comments like “That Circa Survive band with the singer that sounds like a girl, fucking sucked!” Probably the same dudes that shout “Play Deadbolt!” between each song.

Thrice played last at my date and it was great way to end the night. I do think they alternate it's a co headlining tour. Sets are the same lenghts with no encores.

 

I remember seeing Stars in Stereo a couple times (either opening for a band I wanted to see or at a festival). Anybody here remember that name?

Dr. Phil’s son was in the band haha

I’ve been going since I was a little kid! I just hate these people. Have you ever seen the ones at earth day that have signs with graphic pictures of aborted fetuses? Like wtf there’s children that go to these events.

It was okay. Way too packed to really take everything in. I went to an art museum (I forget what the name was), photography one and the science museum which had a pretty cool video game exhibition on the entire bottom floor
