Is it cool if we share how we became fans of Björk, @Larry David? Because my dad has this collection of the best MTV Unplugged performances, and I didn't know what to expect. Bands like R.E.M. and The Cranberries were obviously great, but I'd never listened to Björk, and that night I hear the unplugged version of Human Behaviour. I'd never heard anything like it. It was weird as hell, primal, and exhilarating. I hunted down her discography on Spotify as soon as I could and listened to that song on repeat, and slowly made my way through her music. The perfect song to introduce me to her

 

Is it Fish in the Dark? That's on my Christmas wish list.

It took awhile for her to click for me because her music is so weird, same with Radiohead, but when it did it was worth it

I find that artists that take time to grow on you and immerse yourself in their world are even more worth it. It's a reward haha

 

I discovered Björk because I had this Michel Gondry dvd that had all of his work and Bachelorette was one of his music videos. Not that interesting a story.
