I think i played Zelda for 8 hours yesterday

The last 2 pieces of music I can think of that came close were The Hotelier's "Soft Animal" when I first heard it in a hospital waiting room a few days after my kids were born, and various points in Touche Amore's Stage Four.

 

I got my son a switch for Christmas. I can't wait to play it myself haha

 

I got my wife a Roomba. Anyone used one before?

 

"Hear You Me" by Jimmy Eat World has made me cry at various times in my life when I've lost family and friends. That's definitely been the one that's made me cry the most.

 

Not a Roomba, but we have a Neato-brand robo-vacuum that we use for our upstairs. It's pretty nice, because it can handle the vacuuming while we're downstairs with the kids.

 

Both of those were the first two that came to my mind. Every dang time

Seriously though. Even if I’m not in a super emotional mood, they will get me there lol

On the topic of getting emotional from music, i can’t play and sing Opening Mail For My Grandmother without getting emotional

Maybe it’s because of my age that I’m starting to see this more, but:

Posting on facebook about no longer having a smartphone is at least as annoying as people who brag about not having a TV but still stream shows/movies on their computer/tablet.

 

Reminds me of people that say they "like all genres of music" but only listen to pop. That bothers me, just be honest, like I only actively listen to 1 or 2 genres, and there's stuff I can't stand (country)

 

What about people that post about people who post about no longer having a smartphone? How annoying is that?

 

Not as annoying as taking an Uber to someone's house to talk to them about how you've given up your car for a Razor scooter.

 

I worked at a farmer's market this summer and was honestly shocked at how many people I saw riding scooters. Now I feel like I see them everywhere.

 

Yeah, I see them a decent amount, but not as much as when I worked downtown. The closest train stations are all a half-mile or more from the building where I work, so I think a lot of people ride them to and from there instead of walking or taking the bus.

I just started The Punisher last night. I’m only one episode in but it’s really good so far. Looking forward to watching another episode tonight!

Also planning on watching the most recent Curb episode tonight. We weren’t able to get to it last night, unfortunately. I don’t want the season to end :(

 

im playing wind waker through. once im finished WW again, im going to buy BOTW

 

I bought the Wind Walker remaster when it came out and never played it. Which is silly cause it’s a top 2 Zelda game for me.
