Queen is poo poo.

Not really. I respect them, I just haven't heard much. I do strongly dislike "We Will Rock You" and "We Are The Champions" though. Too corny for me.

 

I'm not gonna pretend I'm familiar with Queen's deep-cuts, but I think that would be akin to dismissing Radiohead because of Creep. Not that you're dismissing Queen, but they do have some really cool stuff. It's definitely a band I need to familiarize myself with more

Edit: for the record, I don't like those two songs either, I just don't think it's representative of their work

 

I like the other hits I've heard! That's why I only called out those 2. I really only know about 10 of their songs

Yeah I mean those are the first 2 tracks off of one album, out of 15!
I’m sure being taken out of context and sampled to death at every sporting event for the last 30 years, hasn’t done them any favors.

@Kingjohn_654 do you remember The Ripping Friends? It seems like a cartoon you would have liked when you were a kid. I know I was all about it, but I just looked it up and apparently it was only 13 episodes? Felt like a lot more when I was a kid. I remember it being hella perverted and I was like wtf

 

And it’s from the guy that made Ren & Stimpy, another great show.
