I’ve listened to all their records, homie.

    In the case, reported.

Yes...but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts

Haha, objectively deep down I know you're all right.
Opening up here for a moment...when Along the Shadow came out I was in the middle of a very bad Vicodin 10/300 addiction. The lyrics, "no one could have known all of our pockets had holes; sober up, you can see more than what you wanted," personally hit a (silver...ha) string that none of Circa's ever managed to, leading me to cling to and play AtS exponentially throughout that 3-month addiction. Knowing Anthony had been writing his parallel story through lyrical context barely a year before the album came out made it easier and encouraging to envelope myself in the narrative while coping. Probably played it 1000 times within that time period.

Anyway, that's why it speaks so much to me.

I fucking hate being a Buffalo sports fan sometimes.

Our football coach is still deciding between whether to start a QB who threw 5 picks in the first half, or a pro-bowl QB who has been our best QB since Doug Flutie on Sunday

Our hockey coach after every loss just goes into "what ifs"
"If we had a couple bounces here or there, we could be 3-2 in the last 5 instead of 0-4-1." EVERY. SINGLE. INTERVIEW.

It’s a good record for sure, i had some mental health problems around the time it came out and that record was one of the few things that made me feel somewhat okay

Thats crazy man! Glad you are doing better! I also agree with you that Along the Shadow > the majority of Circa (I really only like the first two Circa albums)

My dream Radiohead set is that they play Kid A in full and then quit and get real jobs like the rest of us.

I did this once a while ago, and it's been a while since I ranked anything.

    Translating The Name
    On Letting Go
    Juturna
    Blue Sky Noise
    Along The Shadow
    Avalon
    Violent Waves
    Pixie Queen
    Appendage EP
    The Amulet
    Young Legs
    Beautiful Things
    Descensus

The Sounds of Animals Fighting was pretty cool too but I haven't visited those albums in a very long time.

Between this and Jackie Chan fronting Radiohead, can you all stop with these scenarios of Radiohead quiting?!

You won't need it; it's a great record, and very short
