This is insanity to me

 

My best memories are of driving while being one of maybe five cars you’d pass on your excursion while listening to stuff like Lydia’s Illuminate.

 

Lmao it is for me too. My classes all start at 7am this semester

 

I used to do this shit too but now I have no friends to do this with haha

I try to be good but I'm always awake at 1 am on week nights despite waking up at 7

 

Well, that is a mistake haha. I’ve had one 8am class in my entire collegiate career and after that I was like NOPE. All my classes are at 10am and that feels too early for me, but I also don’t usually go to sleep until like 3am so

 

Right? Like some of my best memories are of me and my friends(I was always the driver) just taking back roads through the woods or hitting the highway for hours while listening to Blink’s Untitled, SOTY’s Page Avenue, Hawthorne Heights’ If Only You Were Lonely or TBS’ Louder Now, or My Chem’s The Black Parade. LP’s Minutes To Midnight was another popular choice.

This was back when gas was like $1.60 though.

 

Move to Tennessee I’ll do that anytime lol

I’m usually up until 12:30 to 1 and get up between 5:30 and 6.

I don’t think I’ve slept past 7:30 in about 3 years

I enjoy when @Bloodsucker II is still awake when I wake up haha

 

I had 8 AM classes pretty much every day. It was rough!

 

One time I stopped so my friends could go scavenge for shrooms at a nearby cattle farm. I did not partake in that little treat, but it was a fun night nonetheless. I spent all the money I made in my junior and senior years of high school on music to play in the car and gas to drive the car.

 

That’s where most of my money went too. And Cigarettes for the drives.

We used to chase down local urban legend haunted areas and go search around them for shit. True story; one time we went to this old abandoned bridge at 3 am where some woman supposedly jumped holding her baby. We sat there, Car off, just chilling and listening to the night. 3am, we start hearing these weird bells and the sound of a baby crying that started faint but got louder and louder. We flew the fuck out of there.

 

What type of profession do you plan on entering?

 

But that would mean I'd have to live in Tennessee

There’s always something with that time of day that screws with my head. I stayed up till 4 or 5 AM pretty consistently (to play breath of the wild) over the summer since I was off and my daughter was going to daycare 3 days a week. That time would always stick out as being particularly pressing and still. Just eerie

 

I’m an English major with the goal of teaching English as a second language in Japan once I graduate. That’s the short term goal. Long term, get a masters and possibly teach English Literature at a Japanese university, but who knows where life will take me...
