I don't like Foxing THAT much

 

Really great live band, but I don’t think their albums capture their energy at all and are quite the snooze fest. So, I suggest catching them live, but you can pass on their albums imo

 

I'll give you that much that their albums don't capture how truly talented they are! Much better live band than album band. Carry on, dog

 

Austin gets tons of shows. I'm not complaining at all. I used to live in El Paso and we would get like 1 good band a year there. it was a live music desert, as well as a regular desert.

I've only heard the one with the red cover.

song # 2 Direction features Anthony Green. At least listen to that one!

 

i still revisit that album a lot, its reaally good. From None is my favorite.

Yeah I still quite enjoy it as well. Riding in your car the guitar at the end is so emotional. Whole record is great. Bought it on vinyl but it was backorder so will be awhile until I finally get it. I regret waiting to buy it. The marble variant that matched perfectly with the cover would of been so cool to own.

Hello folks,
It's your old pal Shakey Graves and I come bearing announcements and tour dates.

First and foremost, it is my pleasure to announce that after years of conception and production, it is finally time to release my 3rd official album, Can’t Wake Up. This record is unlike anything I've produced before and I have finally accomplished my dream of creating a hi-fi bedroom album. This 13-song record simultaneously steps forward into the sounds I've always dreamed of creating while looking backward at the dreams and topics of my childhood fantasies. It is a big, brash, cinematic, scrappy piece of my mind.

Can’t Wake Up will come out May 4th on Dualtone Records and you can PRE-ORDER the album today. We will be releasing the first two tracks as a bonus on Shakey Graves Day (Feb 9th) and as always on SG Day, we will have a party and show in Austin, Texas, which we will do a ticket lottery for. So keep your ears perked for further announcements.

Around the same time, we will be hitting the road to play these new majestic songs for you, in person. I will be starting a full headline tour this May with stops in Boston, D.C., Brooklyn, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, a few festivals, and more. One of the big highlights of 2018 will be OUR FIRST HEADLINING SHOW AT RED ROCKS on August 30th!!! If that wasn't enough of a treat, we will be joined by the unbelievable talents of Jose Gonzalez and Twin Peaks!
