Gonna start the 6th episode of Mindhunter in a bit. It’s really good!

Just cleaning up the house some and catching up on podcasts-it’s a pretty wild night over here

 

What podcasts do you listen to?

 

Mainly just sports, tv, and music ones.

For sports, I listen to Around the Horn and PTI (yes, I know they’re on tv but I’m never home then and I’d rather just listen than watch it later). I like The Lowe Post for basketball coverage. And then for football I’ve been listening to The Ringer NFL show. I know a lot of people don’t care for him, but I enjoy Bill Simmons’ podcast too.

For music/entertainment I enjoy Encore (I need new episodes @Jason Tate !), Celebration Rock with Steven Hyden, occasionally Lead Singer Syndrome (depending on the guest), and I subscribed to the new podcast Broken Record with Rick Rubin and Malcolm Gladwell which could be interesting.

For tv, I am a big fan of the Bald Move network. If they cover a show that I’m watching I’ll listen to their recap & analysis episodes. So that’d pretty much be Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Fargo, Better Call Saul, and Westworld to name a few off the top of my head.

There are a few others too - some that aren’t regularly released such as Serial, Revisionist History with Malcolm Gladwell, Missing Richard Simmons, and S-Town.

One podcast I want to start soon is Origins with James Andrew Miller. There’s probably 12+ hours of content to date and it all focuses on Curb Your Enthusiasm and @Larry David

I’ve heard it’s really good. I guess it’s next season (not sure when) will focus on the origin of something else.

 

No I don't. Maybe I should check it out.

Dang that’s an impressive list, I’ll have to check some of those out.

I occasionally listen to video game podcasts. When I’m ready to buy a new game, and I want to hear what the latest and greatest is.
Other than that I’ve listened to Encore a few times, and that’s it.

 

Whenever you get the chance, definitely! It has an electric, charismatic cast. Based on historical events with some creative licence of course. Fascinating to watch it delve into different cultures and religions. Season 5 starts in a few weeks!
