It sucks because when i get super busy its almost more stressful to play music so I usually don't. So no new releases for me today I guess.

 

Pretty sure I just pooped some undigested asparagus spears

 

They released a compilation album called Eggs Are Funny, it kind of does the work for you if you wanna check that out

But there are so many songs I don’t want you to miss out on and Eggs Are Funny has a lot of them haha.

I’ll say this, I haven’t listened to a lot of their newer stuff, but the three albums I jam are Frengers, And The Glass Handed Kites, and No More Stories. Released in that order. so, if you don’t wanna check out the comp, then listen chronologically.

I finally tried Johnny-O's, even though I'm grossed out by the word "spudnuts." It was great.

 

New reimagined album out today. I've been spinning this a lot in light of recent events. That, and ETID's From Parts Unknown. "If There Is Room To Move, Things Move" is still top-tier extraordinarily and violently expelled existentialism (something Keith owns like no other).

Side note: anyone from AP days remember Letters With Dr. Buckley? Maybe the funniest material Jason has had on either site, would love to see it come back.

 

I’m walking to lunch where I work (downtown Akron) and there are these speakers that are put up in trees around town that play music. I guess the thinking is that it’d improve morale, I dunno.

ANYWAY, it’s playing Phoebe Bridgers now! I thought that was pretty cool!

 

Good lord, Mew are an amazing band

 

as long as they don't broadcast Browns games it might just work!

 

I just don't like comps, especially as a starting place for a band. I want to listen to records.

Pretty stoked for new SOTY not gonna lie. Didn't think that would be something I would be saying in 2017 but it is.

 

serious question since I just looked at the remaining Browns schedule do you think they're going to win any games?

there are a few that I could see them having a chance (packers, bears)

but I don't know.

I think they’ll win 1 game. Either Chicago, Chargers or Jacksonville (Bortles sucks)would be my guess.

yeah I guess I could see them beating them too, but I just don't know. it's one of those things that everything has to go exactly right and everything has to exactly wrong for the other team.

they had their chance to win a grind it out game against Tenn and Pit and couldn't pull it off.

 

@Larry David the closing tracks on both Frengers and And The Glass Handed Kites are absolutely outstanding.

 

Agreed. I think they have always been pretty underrated and i enjoy the hell out of the new songs so far
