yeah I know, but honestly, I'm starting to think that packing peanuts and circus peanuts are the same thing

The edible corn starch packing peanuts are probably much better than these.

someone once brought to a potluck, a jello mold with fruit and shredded cheese on top, and I didn't think it could get any worse than that

What about Peeps? Are they much different than circus peanuts?

They suck too, imo.

Peeps have more "flavor" but it's not a good flavor. Just overly sweet. I think they're softer/closer to a marshmellow, but it's been a while since I've had either, because fool me once...

I actually like Peeps in small quantities. When they’re fresh it’s just a super soft marshmallow with some extra sugar. Circus peanuts at their absolute freshest have the texture of Peeps that have been left out as an Easter decoration all month. Plus the previously mentioned perfume taste. They’re very different.

 

Although I know they do sell like strawberry flavored Peeps and yeah those are almost as much of an abomination as circus peanuts.

Or you remember these things? They were like a marshmellow with a hard candy coating. I liked them when I was a kid, but I can imagine it and there's no way I'd like it now.
