I’ve always thought people take the phrase too literally. I think of it as more like “love after your first interaction”, which admittedly isn’t as catchy, but I do believe that exists.

I feel like phrases like “true love” “soul mate” and “love of my life” all refer to the same idea which is the person who is the one you’re “meant” to be with happily and spend your life together (and the one you’re marrying, if you’re into that thing)

 

I think it's very possible to find the perfect person for you and that person still not be the most perfect person for you but idk why that would really matter so much

i don't think "loml" is the same as true love and soul mates. loml is more like idk a level of the relationship? you can have a whirlwind head over heels relationship with someone and they be completely the wrong person
