I do believe that you know pretty instantly if there is chemistry with someone and if it's not there initially it's really hard to create it.

Just my personal experience.

I guess that’s why I say maybe because even if it was just infatuation at first sight (obviously- well, obvious to me- you can’t love someone you don’t know???), if you go on to love them, is it unreasonable to say it was love at first sight? To say that maybe some part of you ‘knew’ at first glance??

It happened to me once in college and it was weird and I developed the biggest crush that went nowhere haha. Good times!

 

What kind of magic? Like obviously Harry Potter magic isn’t real but a lot of what was originally meant by magic would just be called science now. So in that sense it’s real.

love at first sight isn’t real and if someone says they’ve experienced it I don’t believe them, even though they’ve probably convinced themselves it happened.

I don’t really know what’s meant by soul mates. Is it just like there’s someone out there who’s your ideal candidate compared to everyone else alive? I guess technically that has to be true

I think that would depend on if you believe you can have more than one soul mate. If so, I’d say they’re pretty similar

cause I was gonna say there are billions of people in the world so saying there's one person you're meant to be with like a puzzle piece is absurd, but if you say are there people you click with and belong with that's very different

 

I think soul mate has an element of “destiny” attached to it
