I hate these remakes but happy for Marc Webb. Sony ruined his Spider-Man films. Hopefully Disney allows for a little more creative control, but who knows

They seem to have better direction than Sony in some ways. Yeah they have an influence over their films for sure, but they're generally good about a director applying their vision to the story. James Gunn and Taika wouldn't have been such hot commodities for Marvel otherwise.

 

Hopefully they do this one right, Monsters U was pretty underwhelming
