I thought there was a Disney+ thread but I don’t see it. how does someone get the free year with their Verizon wireless account if they’re still on their parents wireless account?
This explains how to do it: How to get a free year of Disney Plus if you're a Verizon customer Do note you need to have one of their unlimited data plans.
We’re just talking about it in the streaming thread. The main account holder has to be the one to make the change. They log in and it’s under the add ons section of the settings. Once you activate it you just use the wireless login info on Disney.
This being on Disney and not Hulu or something still seems to strange to me. I have no idea how they can portray their lives as adults on this platform. But if it works it will be pretty interesting.
My Disney+ account got hacked despite my strong password and my email wasn’t compromised, so I’m not sure how. But I know three people this also happened to. I checked my junk folder and I got an email about the password change three days before I noticed it. Disney customer support was great about it but the only thing to do is for them to delete my entire account and I had to make a new one. Then they gave me two free months as an inconvenience and are refunding me for the year I paid on the original account so I can start the new subscription. I know they made a statement about there being no security breach and that it only happened to select users, but I feel like knowing three people in my life that it happened to also is a red flag, haha.
Well, nostalgia is a big part of the Disney + gameplan so I'm sure they're trying to cast as wide a net they can to get people to keep watching.
